Well, actually, I've been 'temporarily out of commision' for a while.
A few months back (beginning of May, to be exact), while playing volleyball, I landed funny coming down from a hit. It hurt my lower back, but at the time I thought little of it. A few weeks later, my lower back was still bothering me, with pain going down my left leg.

And so I went to see a doctor.

Three x-rays and an MRI later, I was informed I had a bulging disc, which is basically where the gel, encased in a hard shell, between two vertebrae pushes out of alignment. In my case, this disc was pinching a nerve and causing the pain down my leg.

I went to Physical Therapy for a few months with little improvement. And so I went back to my doctor who recommended me to a Sports Medicine Physical Therapist. My mom then had the wonderful idea of Chiropractics!

So, as a result, I have some sort of doctors appointment nearly every day of the week, minus weekends. And, unfortunately, this cuts severely into my time.

Also, I have volleyball starting up soon, so my activeness may greatly diminish from that as well.

But I'm still hoping to get better soon because this whole back thing has just been annoying me for a really long time. There's been a lot of things I was planning to do this summer that I am unable to do now because of my back. And I'm starting to get very, very annoyed.

And I'm a little bit ready to throw in the towel.
